PDP Members Returning Sacks of Membership Card to Party Secretariat in Katsina State

Since former President Olusegun Obasanjo publicly tore his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), membership card to indicate his dumping of the party, several members of the party have joined in publicly showing their resentment to the party.

Few days after Obasanjo’s card-tearing exercise, an aide to governor Danwambo of Gombe State also publicly tore his PDP card. Subsequently, some PDP youths in Karu Nasarawa State took their turns.

In Katsina state, something similar was done, but this time, the members did not tear their cards. They parked them in a sack and returned them to the party secretariat in the state.
